Recently role of fractured basement reservoir in Petroleum industry is increasing not only in Vietnam, but also over the world. To study this special type of reservoir has faced with many problems and difficulties. The workshop introduces main techniques in applying of the modern seismic technology, particularly 3D seismic for study the fractured basement reservoirs and focuses on important features which have to be seriously considered during seismic data acquisition, processing and interpretation. Particularly, the latest study results of the lecturer will be presented and discussed.
