On Saturday the 10th of March, 6 teams representing the PetroVietnam University, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Science, and Bach Khoa University, participated in the Southern Vietnam PetroBowl 2018. Their knowledge of petroleum-related technical and non-technical fields was tested in a series of intense, quick-firing rounds of questions and answers.
6 months’ worth of preparation by the student organizing team, advised by members of the Young Professionals sub-committee, culminated in a successful event applauded by the esteemed judges, honored guests, and enthusiastic audience present. Each of the top 3 prizes was claimed by a participating university, with team PVU 1 emerging as the competition champion following a strong demonstration of technical prowess and English proficiency.
With the event closing on a high note, SPE Vietnam will strive to provide more such platform for university students to exchange ideas and improve on their knowledge in the future.
